Inspired by my friend over at www.leemills.typepad.com I recently made a present for a special 16 year old.
Cut from the pages of my trusty outdated Sydways street directory, the three hearts represent two of the streets she has lived in and another special spot where the family holiday.
And of course a birthday card!
Challenge entry # 5 for www.fiskarscraft.typepad.com - Create a layout: I have used an ad from a magazine, netting from fruit container, and the fiskars circle punch.....

Take one Almond Roca chocolate box (sorry had already cut into it!!!)
and some left over Quilton tissue box.....another card.

I had been looking for a card holder for my many loyalty cards and couldn't find anything I liked. Inspired by the repurpose challenge here is what I came up with (think of it as a prototype, as I really was "practicing")
A business card holder from the "$2" shop (cost $2.50 actually)
I then covered it with adhesive felt (compliments of Lyn Dwyer - part of my prize in a recent RAK) and added some punched felt to the outside to give it some depth. Finished off with a book binder by 7 Gypsies.
Storage for my favourite loyalty cards!

Take a Quilton tissue box (a very popular recyle item!! ), some cardstock, punches, ribbon, stamps, ink and a few buttons and brads.
and you can produce a Birthday card
and even a Christmas card....

I received this beautiful thank you note from my cousin. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the inside of the envelope had this stunning flower pattern!
And it very kindly included this small stripe of paper around the card!
With some help from the Harvey Norman catalogue...some basic bazzil card stock, a Fiskars circle punch and Fiskars trimmer.
